    1. Welcome to HONEYCOMB

    HONEYCOMB is a software platform that helps homeowners understand their property, plan construction projects, get accurate cost estimates, and connect with vetted contractors. We also serve contractors, developers, and investors through dedicated portals. Our consumer-facing free property report is offered under the TRUbee brand at trubee.ai.

    These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and HONEYCOMB USA, Inc. ("HONEYCOMB", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the platform (including TRUbee), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

    If you do not agree, please do not use HONEYCOMB.

    2. Who can use HONEYCOMB

    You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. If you create an account on behalf of a household or organization, you represent that you have the authority to do so.

    3. Your account

    • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
    • You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date in Settings › Profile.
    • You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password and contact us immediately.
    • We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent or harmful.

    4. How you use HONEYCOMB

    When you use HONEYCOMB, you agree:

    • Not to use the platform to break the law or to infringe anyone else's rights.
    • Not to upload content you do not have the right to share (for example, copyrighted plans you didn't pay for or didn't create).
    • Not to attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the platform.
    • Not to misrepresent yourself or your property.
    • To be honest in your communications with contractors, vendors, and other members.

    5. Property reports, estimates, and AI tools

    HONEYCOMB uses public records, market data, and AI models to generate property reports, cost estimates, permit timelines, and other guidance. These are estimates and informational tools, not professional advice.

    • Always confirm cost numbers with a licensed contractor before signing a contract.
    • Always confirm permit and zoning details with your local jurisdiction before starting work.
    • HONEYCOMB does not guarantee the accuracy of any estimate or report. Real-world numbers vary based on site conditions, finish selections, market changes, and decisions made by you, your contractor, and local authorities.

    6. Contractors, bids, and contracts

    HONEYCOMB facilitates introductions between homeowners and independent contractors. Any contract you sign with a contractor is a direct agreement between you and that contractor. HONEYCOMB is not a party to that contract and is not responsible for the contractor's work, schedule, pricing, licensing, insurance, or conduct.

    We do, however, take contractor quality seriously. If you have a problem with a contractor you found through HONEYCOMB, please tell us. It informs how we vet and rank contractors going forward.

    7. Payments and fees

    Some HONEYCOMB features and tiers carry fees, which are disclosed before purchase. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider (currently Stripe). Refund eligibility depends on the specific product and is described at checkout.

    If HONEYCOMB facilitates payments between you and a contractor, those funds and the related agreements are governed by the separate disclosures presented at the time of payment.

    8. Intellectual property

    • HONEYCOMB owns the platform, the software, the AI models, and the brand.
    • You keep ownership of the content you upload (your photos, your plans, your project notes). You grant HONEYCOMB the rights described in our Privacy Policy Section 4 to use that content to operate and improve the platform.
    • Property reports, comparable sales analyses, and market intelligence generated by HONEYCOMB are owned by HONEYCOMB. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

    9. Termination

    You can close your account at any time from Settings › Profile. See our Privacy Policy Section 6 for what happens to your data when you do.

    We can suspend or close your account if you violate these Terms, if continuing your account exposes us or other members to risk, or if we discontinue the platform.

    10. No warranties

    HONEYCOMB is provided "as is". We do our best to keep the platform accurate, secure, and available, but we don't warrant that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any specific outcome (a successful project, a particular price, a contractor showing up on time) will occur. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

    11. Limitation of liability

    To the maximum extent allowed by law, HONEYCOMB will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, or lost data. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to HONEYCOMB will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to HONEYCOMB in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars.

    12. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify HONEYCOMB against claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

    13. Disputes and governing law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which HONEYCOMB USA is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of that jurisdiction, and you and HONEYCOMB consent to that jurisdiction. The specific governing state and venue will be confirmed in a future update once HONEYCOMB's entity formation is finalized; in the meantime, you may contact us at the address in Section 15 with any questions.

    14. Changes to these Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-platform before the changes take effect. Continuing to use HONEYCOMB after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
